Indonesia Visa Free For 45 Countries Expected Can Be Realized On July 2015

After being delayed, finally visa exemption for 45 countries being processed and just waiting for approval. The Presidential decree is expected to be completed in July.

In relation with the Presidential targets to bring 20 milions tourist in 2019, the tourism ministry will give visa free for tourist from 45 countries to Indonesia in a press conference at Festival Sriwijaya Sapta Pesona Building Jakarta, Wednesday, June 3rd 2015. Arif Yahya confirms that the visa exemption scheme is on process of completion.

Presidential decree for visa exemption regulation for 45 countries established by The Ministry Of Tourism is in process, and just waiting for President approval. The Ministry Of Tourism Said, he hope this month the process is completed and can be used in following month (July, 2015).

Incidentally in July is peak season. Expected completion of this visa exemption will be completed as soon as possible, so the number of foreign tourists coming to Indonesia will be increased. As per The Ministry Of Tourism records Indonesia has 915,334 foreign tourist on December 2014.

"We had 15 countries which has been approved by Presiden, and then we added 30 countries. Total 45 countries if President approved,".

Imposition of the visa-free stay put reciprocal. So far, only Japan, which approved the policy.

"Special constraints do not exist, we have to go through the process of Law Ministry and human rights, immigration  to state relations. Now it is initialed all, just waiting for the president,"

Then, which countries that will be inlcuding for Visa Exemption, we will wait for further update from our Tourism Ministry.
